The Department of Chemistry with pass course began to set out its voyage in 2014 and honours course has been introduced here in 2017. The department emphasizes strengthening the system of higher education learning and research. Students from this department use to become successful under Vidyasagar University and other colleges containing PG courses.
We have set up a Departmental Library. The students are allowed to borrow books from this library once a week.
Now we are running the Department with one full-time teacher, one SACT teacher.
Wall Magazines are published by this Department.
We have regularly organized students’ seminars during the last few years to improve their quality and speaking power.
Students are encouraged to do project work with the help of departmental teachers.
Students are also cheered to do social work and to participate in various NSS related activities.
